Advocacy Training

Learn how to make change in the Granite State with the Stay Work Play Advocacy Network! This training will provide an overview of the NH state legislature and how a bill becomes a law, and when advocacy is most needed within the process. We’ll then discuss how to effectively advocate in different ways, such as calling your legislator, testifying at a public hearing, or writing a Letter to the Editor. We’ll conclude with an optional story writing workshop where participants can practice writing their personalized advocacy message on an issue they care about.
