Family Support in Practice: Care, Connection & Relationship (One-Day Conference for Family Support Professionals)

The Family Resource Center Network of New Hampshire invites you to kick off Prevention Month and attend our first annual One-Day Conference for Family Support Professionals! This inaugural gathering , brings together family-serving organizations committed to strengthening children, families, and communities and is designed to create space for connection, learning, and collaboration across organizations that share a common purpose. Together, we’ll explore emerging challenges facing families, highlight effective practices, and build relationships that support coordinated, community-centered solutions.
Who Should Attend: Family Support Professionals
The conference will feature:
- Peer learning and facilitated discussions
- Opportunities to share programs, resources, and lessons learned
- Time to build partnerships across sectors serving children and families
Keynote: Dr. John Gaines aka John “PUSH” Gaines, is a former “at-risk foster kid” turned youth advocate, author, NCAA champion in football, motivational speaker who reminds us of the difference one caring adult can make.
Additional Speakers include:
- Karen Welford, former Steering Committee Member of the National Family Support Network, sharing on the evidence-based family support & strengthening and peer recovery support integrated model of Family Threads;
- Sarah Fox, HOPE Champion on the Tufts initiative’s answer to ACES, speaking on Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences;
- Friends of Aine – speaking on topics of grieving children and families and more…
Doors open at 8:30AM, Keynote begins at 9:30 AM. All workshops conclude by 3:30pm so attendees can enjoy some dedicated self-care time on the estate!
