Trauma-informed prevention is a powerful approach for promoting resilience and creating environments that prioritize safety, trust, and collaboration. But, what does it look like? And, what does it mean to be trauma-informed? Join Public Consulting Group (PCG) for a discussion on how trauma-informed practices can be applied to prevention from stakeholder engagement to prevention strategies.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Define what it means to be trauma-informed,
  • Outline strategies for engagement of persons with living and lived experience, and
  • Demonstrate trauma-informed practices in prevention.

PRESENTER: Kim Magoon, MS, and Megan Hawkes, MPH, Public Consulting Group
