$30
mayo clinic logo

Overview: ADHD is a brain disorder marked by an ongoing pattern of inattention, impulsivity and/or excessive activity, which interferes with functioning or development. Some people with ADHD only have problems with one of the behaviors, while others have a combination. An appealing short-term effect of nicotine is that it helps with the ability to focus. This is conceivably one reason why many people with ADHD use tobacco. This webinar will look at the facts behind why there is a connection between nicotine and ADHD and how to most effectively treat those with ADHD who want to stop using tobacco products.

Goals and Objectives:

  1. Identify Reasons People with ADHD May Use Nicotine at Higher Rates
  2. Develop Effective Treatment Strategies for Nicotine Addiction and ADHD
