Concord International Overdose Awareness Day
We warmly invite you to join us at the Concord Overdose Awareness Day vigil on the State House lawn for a time of remembrance and commitment. It’s our desire to honor those whose lives have been lost to the opioid epidemic and the loved ones they left behind, as well as to share resources for those who are suffering and their families.
New Hampshire remains among the states with the highest rate of overdose deaths. We won’t change this until people are willing to look at the issue head-on, which is why we want to be very visible and make this New Hampshire’s biggest IOAD event yet! We hope you will join us there!
** PLEASE NOTE ** At the time of this posting (mid-July), our plan is to meet at 5 at City Hall on Green Street for a march to the State House lawn, where speeches will take place – HOWEVER – times, locations and other event details may change as we finalize plans – so please check the Facebook page linked here for updates as the event approaches. We can’t modify this post but we can and will keep the Facebook page current.
