Take Control Facilitator Training

Join Facilitators Elaina Wheaton and Michelle Brauch – the creators of the evidence-based Take Control Program – meeting the social and emotional needs of youth to manage their anger. Trainees will participate in the entire Take Control Curriculum, understand the science behind the learning objectives, and learn how to use the program to assist youth in their community.
Participants will learn:
• How to implement an adolescent program focused on improved communication strategies.
• How to manage highly emotional situations.
• How to reduce the effects of anger by guiding youth through the program’s 10-hour process, as well as learn skills on how to offer solutions and ideas to manage youth emotions.
Registration includes the Take Control Curriculum Manual, Technical Assistance to run groups for up to one year, and a Certificate as Trained Facilitator.
