Harm Reduction & Naloxone Administration – Train the Trainer

This training will hybrid. Please choose in-person or virtual when registering. The in-person component of this training will take place at North Country Health Consortium, 262 Cottage Street, Suite 230, Littleton, NH

During this training session, attendees will identify effective management of harm reduction strategies related to opioid overdose including the administration and management of Naloxone. Additionally, they will be positioned to provide trainings in their organization and community for training others to administer Naloxone in a culturally sensitive manner.

Following the completion of this training, participants will:

• Identify signs of an opioid overdose.
• List three steps of Naloxone Administration and Management
• Recall three teaching strategies to effectively train others on naloxone administration.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Jennifer Goulet spent four years coordinating for the Multiple Offender Program (MOP) at Tri-County Community Action Program (TCCAP) and discovered a passion for helping those in her community that suffer with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). This employment experience, as well as personal experiences has led Jennifer to become employed as the Recovery Support Manager for the AskPETRA Substance Use Disorder Support Programs which include the Wellness And Recovery Model (WARM) Program and the newest extension of services, WARM4Women at the North Country Health Consortium (NCHC) in Littleton, NH. She is currently pursuing her CRSW to realize her commitment to improving the overall health and wellness of all New Hampshire residents that struggle with addiction.
