Intro to Perinatal Mental Health

This class provides an overview of the up to date information about Perinatal Mental Health. Definitions and statistics will be shared, as well as deeper insight into the spectrum of Perinatal Mental Health conditions during pregnancy and postpartum, including Baby Blues, depression, and anxiety. A brief overview of current treatment options will be laid out.

Participants will be able to:

• Discuss the timeframe and spectrum of Periantal Mental Health Conditions.
• Name at least 3 symptoms of Baby Blues and Perinatal Depression and Anxiety.
• Explain at least one of the current treatment options.
