A.I.D. Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Training

The NH Young Adult Advisory Council is hosting free, virtual mental health and suicide prevention training sessions for young adults in NH. Join us virtually for lunch (12 PM) or dinner (6 PM) on February 5, 2026 for a cozy chat about strategies to take care of your mental health and look out for your community over the winter.

A.I.D. Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Training: This session teaches participants how to interact effectively with someone experiencing mental distress using three steps—awareness, interaction, and direction. This training also includes education on mental health resources, practicing the A.I.D. action plan, reducing stigma about mental illness and substance use, and promoting self-care.

A.I.D. Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Training session will be conducted virtually, via Zoom.

Option 1: Thursday, February 5th from 12:00-1:00 PM
Option 2: Thursday, February 5th from 6:00-7:00 PM

Who Can Attend: These trainings are open to any young adult (ages 18-30) who lives, works, or studies in New Hampshire.
