What is Ecstasy (MDMA)?
Ecstasy is a synthetic, mind-altering drug that has both hallucinogenic and stimulant-like properties. It is the powder or crystal form of MDMA (methylenedioxymethamphetamine) that is made, packaged and distributed underground so you never know what you are taking!

How is it used?
Ecstasy comes in pills, tablets or capsules in a variety of colors and shapes. It is taken orally and if more then one is taken, it is called "bumping."
- It can cause severe dehydration, liver and heart failure, and even death.
- It causes an increase in heart rate and blood pressure, a special risk for people with circulatory or heart disease.

- Muscle tension
- Unusual displays of affection
